You have the power to transform the lives of Chicago’s homeless women and children. By supporting Interfaith Council for the Homeless’ successful program you provide families with both a permanent home and the tools they need to rebuild their lives. Join us in creating a community of achievement and breaking the generational cycle of homelessness. By supporting our continuing mission you can change the lives of generations to come.
You can also mail in a check to: Interfaith Council for the Homeless, ATTN: Brandon Combs, 642 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago, IL 60612. Your donation may be tax-deductible!

You can directly make a difference in the life of a homeless family. ICH has estimated it costs only $15,500 to house a family of four for a year with a permanent home and to provide the tools they need to rebuild their lives. This compares to over 20,000 to store a family of three in an emergency shelter and over $30,000 to incarcerate a single woman in an Illinois jail. If you are interested in sponsoring a family, at either the full amount of any part of it, do not hesitate to contact Brandon at ICH: (773) 265.1207. You can also involve your faith community, social club, co-workers or neighbors!
ICH will happily consider your in-kind donations as well, depending on the resident's needs. We are unable to pick up any contributions. Since we place families in their own homes, we are looking for items that compliment that objective. Household items, toiletries, school supplies (backpacks) for children, electronics, and others will be considered. Please contact Brandon at (773) 265-1207 to discuss a contribution.
ICH has limited volunteer opportunities for professionals interested in working directly with residents on job training, record expungement, interviewing and resume writing and more! If you feel your services may be utilized, please complete this application and return it. If you have questions, please contact Brandon at (773) 265-1207.
